✨ What’s new in Goin: everything you need to know about the migration ✨

Updated today

We’ve updated Goin to offer you a more secure, technological and transparent experience. These are the main changes you’ll notice from now on.

🔄 From EUR to EURc

The most important change in this update is that your money in Goin is now managed in EURc (Euro Coin), a digital version of the euro backed 1:1 by real euros.

This means that 1 EURc always equals €1, but it now operates on a more modern and secure infrastructure.

❓ What if I don’t want to convert my balance to EURc?

If you don’t want to convert your balance to EURc, you can withdraw the available balance to your bank account and continue making Cashback Card purchases, selling crypto and receiving cashbacks.

However, you won’t be able to use the Savings Methods, deposit money into the app, or buy cryptocurrencies.

⚙️ Automatic savings methods

Automatic Savings Methods — such as Recurring Savings, Round-ups, or Wake up and Save — are only available if you have accepted the conversion to EURc.

If you haven’t done it yet, we will guide you through the process from the app.

💳 Contributions via card

Pending savings will be deposited when:

  • They reach a minimum accumulated amount of €15, or

  • 15 days have passed and the total reaches at least €5

If after 15 days the amount does not reach €5, we will continue accumulating your newly detected savings until that amount is reached, and then they will be executed together.

Additionally, a fee will apply to all transactions made with a card (except for gift card purchases, crypto purchases or subscriptions), unless you subscribe to enjoy zero fees up to €2,000.

Bank transfer deposits will remain free.

⏱️ Deposit time in your EURc Wallet

Your balance will no longer be added instantly to your EURc Wallet.

We now credit the amount only once the charge has been fully confirmed, ensuring that the balance you see is always real and final.

This may mean it can take 48–72 hours for the balance to appear as available in your EURc Wallet.

🏦 Withdrawal times

With EURc operations, withdrawals include an additional step: first we convert your EURc to euros, and once the conversion is completed we send the money to your bank immediately.

This conversion process is invisible to you, but it may take 48–72 hours and depends on market conditions.

After that, the money is sent instantly to your bank.

⏸️ Savings goals temporarily unavailable

There are plans for Savings Goals to return in the future, but for the moment they have been disabled.

If you had funds distributed across different Savings Goals, the balance has been automatically consolidated into your Cash account.

You can verify this by checking your transaction history in the app.
